Julie

Office Associate and Public Relations Coordinator

Julie graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Management and Marketing. After graduating in 2021, she worked in dental marketing and later earned her Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license from Tarrant County College. She later decided to continue her education and pursue a career in dental hygiene. Julie is currently completing her prerequisites and plans to apply to the program soon.

Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, baking, spending time with her two Mini Australian Shepherds, Bodhi and Bankei, and enjoying outdoor activities like hiking and camping.

Jerline is grateful to serve at Great Southwest Family Dental in such a humble and Spirit-filled environment, where she brings a heart of compassion, excellence, and encouragement to both patients and team members. With more than 27 years in the dental field, Jerline believes every person should feel welcomed, valued, and cared for, and she strives to reflect kindness and joy in every interaction. She is a proud mother of 7, GiGi, avid football and basketball mom, Madam President of a local high school PTSA, Youth Director of KVCM, and a woman of great faith. Jerline sees her work as more than a job—it is an opportunity to serve others with grace, patience, and purpose, one smile at a time.

Vietnamese Insurance Coordinator

An begin working in dental in 2021 and hasn’t looked back since. She has found a love for both the clinical side of helping people achieve their optimal smile goal, as well as the administrative side of working with our fantastic patients. She was delighted to come across the amazing team here at GSWFD, who have helped her learn more about successful dentistry.

Outside of work, she enjoys an active lifestyle and volunteering in the community. She also loves being out in nature, traveling, and exploring new things.

Dental Assistant/ Front Desk

Quyen has been working as a dental assistant for over 3 years. She enjoys getting to know our patients and working alongside our team to make every visit a positive experience. Her goal is to help every patient leave with a healthy smile and a great experience.

Treatment Coordinator and Front Desk

With 16 years of experience in dentistry, I began my career as a dental assistant and now serve as a Treatment Coordinator. I am passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their smiles while providing the best experience possible.

Outside of work, I’m a proud mom of four—three boys and one girl. I love spending time with my family, traveling, and making memories with my husband and children.

Lab Technician

Mike is a retired school teacher who stepped into dentistry 3 years ago after meeting Dr. Truong at church. He works in the GSWFD lab, designing and perfecting crowns for our patients.

He loves spending time with his grandchildren as well as doing woodworking in his garage.

Latricia

Dental Hygienist, RDH

Latricia has been in the dental field for over 30 years, with 11 of those years being with Dr. Truong. She is certified with CPR, radiology, and Soft tissue laser therapy to promote periodontal health.

Her goal is to educate patients about oral health through compassionate care and also values positive relationships with patients.

In her spare time, Latricia enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her precious grandchildren.

Vivian

Dental Hygienist, RDH

Vivian has over 15 years of experience as a dental hygienist. She loves working here at GSWFD to bring the best care to our patients.

Outside of work, she enjoys working in her flower mini garden, especially with her roses.

Michelle

Dental Hygienist, RDH

Michelle began working at GSWFD back in 2022. With over 15 years of experience in the dental field, she takes pride in helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral well-being. She excels in conducting thorough dental cleaning and developing personalized hygiene plans tailored to each patient’s needs.

In her free time, Michelle plays tennis as well as spends time growing vegetables and flowers in her garden. She also enjoys crocheting amigurumi.

I am Sylvia, a Registered Dental Assistant, and I have been part of this amazing team for over four years. I feel truly blessed to work alongside such dedicated colleagues who share the same goal when providing our patients with the best care and service. I love seeing our patients smile and knowing we’ve made a difference in their day.

Albert

Dental Assistant, RDA

Albert has worked with Dr. Truong for 17 years. He has been in the dental field since 2003 as a dentist himself in Mexico. He treats and cares for all patients as if they were his own family. He assists Dr. Truong with all oral surgery and implant cases.

Albert was born into a humble family in Guadalajara, Mexico. At his first dental visit at just 5 years old, he found a passion for the medical field. When not in the office, Albert enjoys spending time with his wife and three children; one princess and two boys who he calls his jumping jacks. He also enjoys fishing, hunting, and camping.

Sara

Dental Assistant, RDA

Sara is currently a dental assistant, but she is working towards becoming a dental hygienist. She loves helping patients feel comfortable and heard. She is excited to continue her education in order to teach patients the importance of oral health and help them achieve their best smile.

Outside of work, Sara enjoys baking and playing music with her boyfriend. A fun fact about Sara is that she enjoys writing and is currently working on writing her own book!

Maria

Dental Assistant

Maria believes that every patient has unique needs and deserves personalized care. She strives to build genuine relationships by actively listening to each patient’s concerns, maintaining a warm and compassionate demeanor, and earning their trust every step of the way. Her goal is to help ease dental anxiety and ensure every visit is as comfortable and stress free as possible.

A fun fact about Maria: Before entering the dental field, Maria catered weddings and special events for up to 500 guests and successfully owned and operated a coffee shop for nearly 9 years.
