Dr. Chris Truong

Dr. Chris Truong is a highly respected clinician, educator, and community leader with over two decades of experience in advanced dentistry. A graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry (Texas A&M College of Dentistry) in 2000, Dr. Truong has earned multiple distinctions, including Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI), and graduation from the inaugural class of the Craniofacial Pain Institute in 2007.

Dr. Truong’s clinical practice focuses on full-mouth reconstruction, implant and bone rehabilitation, advanced restorative dentistry, and Invisalign® clear aligner therapy for teens and adults. His approach blends precision, modern technology, and compassionate, patient-centered care — ensuring patients fully understand their treatment options and feel confident in their decisions.

Beyond private practice, Dr. Truong is deeply involved in dental education. He teaches other dentists advanced surgical techniques and serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Texas A&M College of Dentistry, helping train future dentists in both foundational and advanced clinical skills. His commitment to continuous learning and teaching keeps his care at the leading edge of dentistry.

Dr. Truong has a long history of ministry and community involvement. He previously served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Vietnamese Baptist Theological Institute, helping train pastors for ministry. He is currently active in the Serve the City ministry and serves on the Security Team at Fielder Church, where he continues to support community outreach and service initiatives.

For more than 25 years, Dr. Truong has traveled across Asia and Africa as part of medical mission teams providing care to underserved communities — reflecting his passion for service, compassion, and global outreach.

Outside the office, Dr. Truong enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and playing volleyball and ping pong with his three boys. He believes in living with purpose, giving back, and treating every patient with the same care and respect he would offer his own family.
